Hogwarts Legacy is a single-player game. Wandrealm is a free, fan-made mod that lets you play it together with other players on PC. You see each other's wizards walk, jump, fly, swim and cast in the same Hogwarts and the same Highlands.
What you need
- Hogwarts Legacy on Steam or the Epic Games Store, on a Windows PC that runs the game.
- A free Wandrealm account. You need to be at least 16 to create one.
- A solo character to bring across: play Hogwarts Legacy once and save.
Epic Games Store support is new — tell us on Discord how it goes.
Get set up
Create your free account, download the launcher, bring your character across and press Play. The install guide walks you through each step.
Where you play together
For now, everyone plays together in the official realms, run by the Wandrealm team: up to 512 players each, with up to 50 in view at once. Choose the same official realm as your friends in the launcher to play in the same world.
Soon you'll be able to make your own realm for up to 4 players and invite your friends with a link or code.
What you share, and what stays yours
Players in the same realm see each other move, cast, swim and climb, with their own look, and their names and levels above their heads. Your character, quests and gold stay yours: they're saved on our servers and come with you to any PC and any realm.
You can talk in text chat and proximity voice chat, cleared camps stay cleared for everyone until they respawn, and the time of day and weather are the same for the whole realm. Fights are shared too: everyone sees the same enemy with one health bar. Some things are not shared yet: quests stay your own. See what works in multiplayer today.
