How to install Wandrealm

The Wandrealm launcher does the work for you: it installs the mod, brings your character across and takes you into your realm.

What you need

  • Hogwarts Legacy on Steam or the Epic Games Store, on a Windows PC that runs the game.
  • A free Wandrealm account. You need to be at least 16 to create one.
  • A solo character to bring across: play Hogwarts Legacy once and save.

Step by step

  1. Create your free account. Create your account on this website and choose your username: the name other players see above your head. Your email is never shown to anyone.
  2. Download the launcher. Download the launcher from the Play page and run the installer. It installs for your Windows user only, so it needs no administrator rights. The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows may show "Windows protected your PC": choose More info, then Run anyway. The launcher keeps itself and the mod up to date.
  3. Sign in. Open the launcher and choose Sign in with your browser. Finish signing in there, and the launcher goes on by itself.
  4. Find your game. The launcher finds Hogwarts Legacy through Steam or the Epic Games Launcher, and looks in the usual game folders. If it can't find it, paste the game's folder: the one that holds HogwartsLegacy.exe and the Phoenix folder.
  5. Bring your character. Choose one of your solo characters. Wandrealm plays a separate copy of it in the realms. It doesn't write to or delete your solo character's saves.
  6. Play. Pick a realm and press Play. The launcher puts the mod in place and starts the game.

If your game doesn't match

Wandrealm supports one game build at a time, and the launcher tells you if yours doesn't match. If you get stuck, ask us on Discord.

Uninstalling

In the launcher, open Settings and choose Uninstall the mod. It removes Wandrealm's copy and puts your own UE4SS and mods back, if you had any. Your solo saves are not touched.

To remove the launcher too, open Windows Settings, then Apps, then Installed apps, and uninstall Wandrealm. It takes the mod out of your game first.
